Meet Melissa Swink
Founder & CEO of Melissa Swink & Co.

Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, I have been a full-time business owner since March 2012. I left a career in operations and logistics to pursue process improvement consulting - but I quickly discovered that Virtual Assisting was a better solution to the problems faced by many business owners. My clients didn’t have the capacity, knowledge, or in-house expertise to handle all of their administrative and marketing tasks, so I stepped in to fill that gap.

After reaching capacity, I realized I had locked myself into the same problem as my clients - no space to grow and no time freedom. I released my DIY mentality and built my own team. Today, we are a full-service team, providing comprehensive virtual support for established organizations.

I’m incredibly passionate about the work we do at Melissa Swink & Co. I see the results of our services, every day, and am proud that we are helping leaders focus on the high-level decisions that drive their organizations forward. As a team, we are built on a mission of supporting our clients with integrity and intentionality. We support scalable and sustainable growth in our clients’ businesses, and I strive to take that same deliberate approach when expanding our own services.

I have the privilege of connecting people who need help in their businesses with those who can meet those needs. As I’ve built my team, I strive to promote equity around the globe. My team members are paid based on skills and experience, no matter where they are located.

My podcast "Make Space for More" is available on-demand for leaders who are trapped in the cycle of overwork or striving to maximize their business potential. The episodes feature practical strategies and mindset shifts to help established organizations create operational efficiencies through effective delegation and systems.

My efficient, experienced team can take over your administrative and marketing tasks, so you can realign your goals and lead your organization with renewed clarity and purpose.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and our sweet-but-mischievous cats. You can find me in the kitchen cooking breakfast, lunch, or dinner and obsessively timing everything to finish at the same time. Although we love going out to eat, we tend to eat our meals at home, especially Mexican and Italian foods.

In my spare time, I love to chill out with a glass of wine and a good book, watch a movie, or listen to music with my daughter. We also volunteer at a local animal shelter. I live in a small city and love urban environments, so I love to visit Chicago as often as I can. When I get the chance to do something indulgent, I head straight to the spa for massages, facials, and peace and quiet.

Hi, I’m Kelly! I live in Florida with my son, originally from Southern California. I’m a proud mom of two and a Nona to three wonderful grandsons. Family is everything to me, and we love traveling together—especially on family cruises! I’m also a big coffee lover and a huge dog enthusiast.
With over 20 years of experience in administration, tech, and project management, I thrive on creating efficient processes and systems. I love helping businesses streamline their operations so they can focus on what truly matters. Organization and efficiency are my passion, and I’m always looking for ways to make things run more smoothly!

Hi, I’m Marissa! With a BA in psychology and over a decade of experience across business operations, I’ve built my career around supporting entrepreneurs in a way that makes their work (and lives!) feel lighter.
My sweet spot sits at the intersection of tech-driven marketing support and operations strategy. I love getting into the behind-the-scenes details — whether that’s integrating a tech stack, refining systems, or supporting a course launch from start to finish. I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor fellow VAs and support talent coordination within the agency, which has given me a unique perspective on building strong, aligned support teams.
Outside of work, life is a mix of homestead living and family time on my 80-acre property in Northern Ontario, Canada. I’m a big believer that business should support your life, and I love helping my clients create more space for what matters most to them.

My background includes nearly 20 years of intelligence analysis experience and I now use those skills as a Virtual Assistant to help small businesses and new entrepreneurs manage their business, their time, and their to-do list so that they can do what they do best. I love learning new things and trying out new systems. But, deep down, I’m a helper; I love helping people. My favorite tasks are email and calendar management and creating workflows and processes.

No matter what kind of business you run or which tasks you wish we would take off your plate, we are confident that we have the perfect team member who is up to the task. Our virtual assistants have an average for 3-4 years of experience working within a wide range of industries and a proven track record of successfully working with clients in a professional manner, and receive ongoing mentorship from our Senior VAs.
